Gary Green
started out as a monumental mason back in 1978, following
a family tradition started by his father Sam back in the 1940s.
Gary served his apprenticeship with Samuels in the East End
of London under the watchful eye of his father. Once qualified,
Gary subsequently worked as a freelance monumental mason,
where his skills were soon to be acknowledged and sought after
by many of the established monumental masons.
It
was in 1992 Gary decided that the Jewish Community in North/East
London needed not only the services of a firm of first class
monumental masons, but a company who would understand their
culture, a company that was prepared to listen. That is
when Gary Green Monumental Masons was established.
Gary’s first showroom was in Clayhall,
Ilford and from day one people realised that this company
had something special to offer. People would travel half
way across London to visit Gary. Such was the demand for
his craftsmanship that in 1994 Gary opened a second showroom
in Edgware.
Even though Gary Green Monumental Masons
is now one of the largest firms of monumental masons in
London, the personal touch is still there and Gary is always
on hand to lend a sympathetic ear.
Gary only employs the top tradesman in
the industry at his state of the art factory in Essex. The
latest technology combined with the finest materials and
good old-fashioned values result in the production of memorials
of true distinction.
